Since setting up in 2021 and taking baby steps initially, our founder Tony could literally work 7 days a week, 365 days a year, such is the demand to employ a veteran! We are unique to any other self employed business out there, veterans offer so much more; trust, respect for others, integrity, loyalty and the desire to graft and have pride in our work, we go the extra mile!

We also plan to launch www.trustaveteran.com in Q3 of 2023, this will be a review site for us all and offers listings for non-van based self employed businesses (think trustpilot, mybuilder etc)

Veteranswithvans.com and trustaveteran.com will include a search post code tool which will list all the self-employed veterans in a specific area, from building trades, to dog groomers/walkers, domestic cleaning... the list is endless! Potential customers can then search and email you directly through our websites.

It costs £100 per year.  This buys you a listing on our website, a custom built Facebook Page linked to your listing here. It also provides you with mentoring support on your self-employed journey.

The mentoring provides a plethora of information we have learned over the past year; for example:

1. What Business Insurance do you need.
2. How do you become self employed for tax purposes?
3. What accounting software you can use.
4. What free business banking services you can use.
5. What trade discounts are available and how do you access them.
6. How you price your work in the early days, promotions etc.
7. Advice on tools purchase.
8. Advice on van purchase and internal set up.
9. The list is endless, we will be on the end of the phone 365 days a year.

The VWV Logo is always printed on the left breast (with or without your name) but the reverse can be personalised, to a degree.

Veterans With Vans® makes no profit from your vehicle branding or t shirts, everything is provided at cost.

Any Veteran from any of our 3 Services who have an exemplary service record. They should be dynamic, customer focussed and possess impeccable values and standards.
